Camp

Well Austyn and Bubba went to camp this week. They went to a Youth Challenge Camp just less then an hour away. On the Nebraska/Colorado state line.

Austyn DID NOT want to go to camp and just threw a fit the night before about going. We insisted that he go and encouraged him that he would have fun. I dropped him off on Monday morning and when I went back on Thursday to pick them up Austyn wanted to stay and was allready talking about next year and the guys only camp in the fall.

Austyn talked non-stop on the way home about his camp experience. Bubba barely got in a word edgewise. Austyn was so excited about the Bible Quizzing that they did. He learned 15 verses this week and was so excited about it. He had notes and drawings of what he learned and was so excited to share about it. He told me this camp changed his life. It was so encouraging and brought me to tears. His counselor was a pastor's kid and so Austyn said he really got to talk to him and that he could relate with him and that ministered to Austyn so much!

Bubba also learned alot of verses. I think he knows about 12 new ones. He went with Matt in the truck in the afternoon so he would have time to share about his camp experience without a big brother that keeps thinking of something else that he has to tell right this very moment!

They got to paintball, ride four wheelers, ride horses, play carpetball, and mission impossible and much more. They both loved the speaker and they said the food was wonderful.

It was such an awesome time for them and I am so thankful that we pushed them into going.

Bubba was so excited because his whole dorm was homeschool boys. It is a neat camp and I am thanking God for it.

I took Levi to camp yesterday and will pick him up on Saturday. Our youth pastor is his counselor.

Glad your boys enjoyed camp.
