Camp

Well Austyn and Bubba went to camp this week. They went to a Youth Challenge Camp just less then an hour away. On the Nebraska/Colorado state line.

Austyn DID NOT want to go to camp and just threw a fit the night before about going. We insisted that he go and encouraged him that he would have fun. I dropped him off on Monday morning and when I went back on Thursday to pick them up Austyn wanted to stay and was allready talking about next year and the guys only camp in the fall.

Austyn talked non-stop on the way home about his camp experience. Bubba barely got in a word edgewise. Austyn was so excited about the Bible Quizzing that they did. He learned 15 verses this week and was so excited about it. He had notes and drawings of what he learned and was so excited to share about it. He told me this camp changed his life. It was so encouraging and brought me to tears. His counselor was a pastor's kid and so Austyn said he really got to talk to him and that he could relate with him and that ministered to Austyn so much!

Bubba also learned alot of verses. I think he knows about 12 new ones. He went with Matt in the truck in the afternoon so he would have time to share about his camp experience without a big brother that keeps thinking of something else that he has to tell right this very moment!

They got to paintball, ride four wheelers, ride horses, play carpetball, and mission impossible and much more. They both loved the speaker and they said the food was wonderful.

It was such an awesome time for them and I am so thankful that we pushed them into going.

Bubba was so excited because his whole dorm was homeschool boys. It is a neat camp and I am thanking God for it.

Bye Bailey!!

Well we had an awesome 2 weeks with Bailey! She was a ton of fun as you can see. It was sad to see her go and we will miss her. I am sure you will take awhile to recoop from our crazy lives. Thanks Bay for coming to stay with us. This is Bay's friend Ally. They had so much fun together.
One of the things that Bay and Al did together was get their hair colored. They had so much fun doing it and it was fun to be apart of it.
Here is Stac the day she came and got Bay. I wish Stac could have stayed longer. Her visits are always way tooo short!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait for heaven when we will be together forever!! Can't wait!!
Here is Tegan with one of the baby kittens. She sho wanted to take this one home.

UPDATE

It's been a CRAZY week and it seems as if it just flew by. Last Sunday we had the annual Smith/Morse Family reunion. Jennifer was trying to hide from the camera! Good try. I gotcha!
Chevy and Austyn and Grandpa were helping with stuff at the bins.
Matt and Bubba are in this truck taking a load of corn to Venango
We went and got icecream for the guys and Bailey was trying to eat the icecream as fast as she could and it was melting way faster then she could eat it. She had it all over her face and and it had run all down her arms by the time we got back to the bins. We laughed and laughed as you can tell!

Game Night

We had a BUSY day of working on trucks. One project kept leading to another but it was good to get the trucks done. Then we headed to town and saw Grandpa and Grandma Peterson in town so we stopped to say hello. We ended up eating at Pizza Hut with them. Then we headed to see Dean in the hospital. We had a good visit with Dean and he is looking alot better. He is full of fluid and they are saying he is having conjestive heart failure as well as emphysema. Two of his goals are to loose weight and to quit smoking. Please keep him in your prayers! We had a CRAZY game night at our house last night.
Here is our adopted daughter Bailey. She is crazy and alot of fun. She is AMAZING. (That's Bay's favorite word I think and it describes her well.)
Here is our AMAZING firstborn.
Here is our AMAZING Bubba! What fun we had!
And last but not least here is MY AMAZING Husband and the AMAZING dad of the boys. Can you believe this??? I had this spoon in my hand a full grip on it and what does he do??? He rips it out of my hands and as he does the spoon totally bends! UGGGGH!!!!! I had it first!!!!
FATHERS DAY!!! Well it is Sunday and it is Father's Day! HAPPY FATHER'S DAY MATT!! Thank you for being a man who loves God and desires to follow Him in all that you do. Thanks for leading this family in the ways of the Lord! We love you!!!
We got Matt a R/C Helicopter for father's day. The camera batteries died so I don't have pictures. I will have to post those later. Matt is like a little kid and he loves his helicopter. Thanks Shaun for getting Matt addicted when we were in Arizona.

Concert

We went to a concert on Wednesday night. It totally rocked and was so AMAZING!!
There were 4 bands. Rough Draft, Willet, Remedy Drive, and Sanctus Real. Matt was the bouncer at the front of the stage so the 4 of us were up there all night rocking out. Bailey was up front as well with her friend Ally. It was a wonderful night. The kids loved it and had such a fun time. Austyn was amazed by Willet. He told me during the concert that "these guys are crazy" He loved it! Chad and Jordon brought the youth kids from church and it was so fun seeing them enjoy a christian concert. Alot of people from church came and it was fun to watch them be exposed to a wonderful christian rock concert. We were all blessed. I almost cried when Sanctus Real sang the song We Need Each Other. Jordon went around hugging everyone in our group and it was just a reminder that we really do need each other! We are the body of Christ and we all have a vital part and we all need each other! Enjoy the pictures some of my pictures! There are several that would NOT dowload.

Summer Fun and Blog Issues

I have been having a horrible time downloading any pictures to my blog. It takes FOREVER and a day and then it times out! It is very frustrating!

Anyways....we brought Bailey home with us from Cheyenne. She is here for a unknown amount of time. We are enjoying having her. It is different having a girl in the house. I am used to being a boy mom not a girl mom! Lord PLEASE help me! LOL! It has been fun and we have had a GREAT time.

Today Bailey and the boys swam at the city pool while I worked. They had a great time and they came back sunburned because they ran out of sunscreen!

Then we were invited to the Buffington's to watch the basketball finals. It was fun and Bailey and Ally hit it off and were having a good time. I am sure Bailey isHAPPY to have a girl to hang out with after just having the boys and me the last few days! I will post pictures later of Ally and Bailey and their YUMMY COOKIES that they made!

For now it is off to bed...we are all sleeping on the trampoline tonight!
